What it makes
A branch joins a side run of gutter into a straight main run. At 90° it is a T. From 45° to 135° it makes a Y.
The floor stays level across the joint, so water from the side run flows straight through.
Choosing the angle
The arms get long quickly as you move away from 90°. On a 220mm bed only angles close to 90° fit, and the summary tells you the arm length as you change it.
Printing it
- Print the 10mm fit test ring first and snap it onto an offcut.
- The branch comes upside down, with the top edges on the bed. Tree supports inside the bowl only.
- Seal with exterior silicone or gutter sealant in the grooves.
Questions
Can I join a smaller gutter into a bigger one?
Not yet. Both runs use the same gutter size.
