What it makes

An adapter joins two different gutters end to end: 112mm half round to 115mm deepflow, an older 115mm half round to today’s 112mm, or any two half round or deepflow sizes.

Each end is a sleeve that clips over its own gutter, like the straight union. Between them a short taper changes from one shape to the other.

Measuring both gutters

Set side A and side B separately. For each, pick the nearest standard size, then measure across the top and the depth of your gutter to fine tune.

Print the fit test ring for each side and snap it onto an offcut before printing the adapter.

Which way the water runs

The adapter lines up the bottoms of the two gutters, and its floor runs straight from one to the other. Fit it with both gutter bottoms level and water flows through in either direction.

Printing it

  • Print both 10mm fit test rings first.
  • Print the adapter standing up as it comes, side A on the bed. A brim helps.
  • No supports: the taper is never steeper than 45°.
  • Use PETG or ASA for outdoors, and seal with exterior silicone in the grooves.

Questions

Can I join half round gutter to deepflow?

Yes. That’s the default: 112mm half round on one side and 115mm deepflow on the other. Pick the preset, then check each side with its fit test ring.

Will the deeper gutter dam the water?

No. The adapter lines up the bottoms of both gutters, so the floor only changes by the wall thickness and water runs through either way.

Can it join square or ogee gutter?

Not yet. It covers half round and deepflow profiles, in any size.
